Friday February 19th: Back to Italy ($79 per person) THE "HOW TO" SERIES (Sundays from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM)
March 21st – The Art of Making Homemade Soup ($55 per person) Homemade soup with hot rolls or thick slices of fresh bread is as close as you will come to a traditional basic family meal. What better way to warm yourself after coming in from the cold. Chef Pellegrino will teach the basics of making your own stock and how adding wonderfully flavorful vegetables and spices can turn that stock into a wide variety of soups. You will learn to make hearty soups as well are beautifully creamy creations! March 28th - The Art of Making Condiments ($55 per person) Did you just run out of mayo? Well don't fret because Chef Pellegrino will teach you how to make this useful condiment. How about Tartar Sauce, Ketchup, Guinness Mustard, Hot Sauce or Pickling Spices? Who knew you could be so clever!!! April 18th - The Art of Making Sauces ($55 per person) So what exactly is Beauchamel? What about Hollandaise or basic tomato sauce for your Italian dishes? Then there is that beautifully rich cheese sauce for homemade Macaroni and Cheese! Join Chef Pellegrino as he teaches the fundamentals of making deliciously rich sauces for your savory dishes. April 25th – The Art of Making Everything Chocolate Truffles, Rum Balls, Nutty Bark…what do they have in common? You guessed it; CHOCOLATE! How about fruit dipped in chocolate or chocolate bread pudding or a luscious Grenache for that delightful cheesecake? Learn to temper chocolate properly and to take that wonderful smooth mouth watering substance and be boundlessly creative. If this doesn't satisfy the chocoholic in you, nothing else will!!! Weekly Specials at Corks and Abacrombie Weekly Specials at Corks MONDAY: Corks Foie Gras Night You may have to walk through picket lines to sample one of the most celebrated and reviled delicacies in the culinary world. Chef Pellegrino will prepare multiple preparations of Foie Gras each Monday for the unfathomable price of $7 and we will choose a selection of wines by the glass and bottle that pairs perfectly with each preparation. TUESDAY: Corks Steak & Cabernet Night Steak and Cabernet Night has become one of our most popular events. Every Tuesday Chef Pellegrino and his chefs offer five cuts of beef for half the original price. We have also selected at least five Cabernet Sauvignon based wines from renowned growing regions such as Napa, Sonoma, Washington State, Chile and Argentina at half their original price. WEDNESDAY: Pasta Night at Corks Every Wednesday evening Corks will celebrate Italy with fresh pastas and housemade sauces as well as a small Italian wine list. Chef Pellegrino has prepared 5 different types of pasta and 4 fresh sauces, most that you will mix and match for $9.00 a bowl. Sommelier, Chef Pelligrino has selected a half dozen Italian red, white and sparkling wines for you to wash down your pasta!
THURSDAY: Sushi Night Try some of our traditional and not so traditional Sushi Rolls FRIDAY & SATURDAY: Two Happy Hours Each Night 4-6pm and 11pm -1am 2 for one Corks Suushi Rolls 2 for one Miller Lights, Clipper City Gold, and Kirin Beers SUNDAY BRUNCH Corks offers brunch from 10:00 am for the early birds until 4:00 pm for the hardcore partiers. And do not forget $8 all you can drink mimosas and bloody marys. (4:00 pm – 10:00 pm) Corks’ brings back an old favorite, The Farmers Market Multi-Course Menu for $30. Each Sunday morning Chef Jerry Pellegrino awakens early to score the freshest produce and meats from the Baltimore Farmers Market and creates a multi-course menu that will be available for $30 after 4:00 PM.
